Audiology Associates is proud to announce we have gone Virtual
As a valued member of our Audiology Associates patient community, we appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you about how we are addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We are closely monitoring events in our local community and continuously updating our policies and protocols as a result of new information.
Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and medical professional team health. We feel confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing primary care according to the Tradition of Quality Care that you have come to expect and deserve.
Our highest priority is to keep all our patients and staff as safe as possible and as a result of this we are now offering Virtual Visits in our office to all of our patients. Providers and patients can share information in real time from one computer screen to another. Using Virtual Visits, patients can see a provider and go over histories, discuss any issues, and come up with a treatment plan. Patients can consult with a provider from the comfort of their home. We also wanted to announce that while we have been closed, we have not been idle, we have been working hard to bring more valuable services to you through the Ida Institute.
We are proud to announce we are now partnering with Ida Institute and have become certified in the Ida Institutes Person Center Care. Those who earn the Person-Centered Care badge have a thorough understanding of the different aspects of person-centered care and how person-centered care differs from the traditional biomedical model. Most importantly, they understand what it means to practice person-centered care with their clients through empathy and active listening.
